THE FREEZE ON CIVIL SERVICE RECUITMENT

I for one fully support this move to temporily freeze new intakes in the civil service.  Memang dah long overdue.

Statistical evidence proved that Malaysia has one of the largest proportion in terms of civil servants to the population.  Apa kes?

It is true that what counts towards development and properity is quality of work, not the number in the work force.  Many in the know have been pushing for this.

But the labor organizations like Cuepacs is pushing for more intake.  The president has been quite outspoken.

But his logics seemed to be guided by his need to remain popular among the work force.  Aku yakin!
